Chris Schneider
Associate Pastor
Born in Rochester, Michigan, Chris attended Grand Valley State University and received a degree in communications. While taking two years off working for a contracting company in Michigan he felt that God was leading him to go into the ministry, and finally made the decision to attend Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he received his Masters of Divinity. After serving four years as a pastor in Kansas City, Missouri, he was called to be a pastor here at St. Paul in June 2019.
Pastor Chris and his wife, Jessica, met in a small group bible study. They were married in September 2012 and have one son, Noah.
Excited to be on this new adventure in the “garden state,” Pastor Chris enjoys sharing and celebrating the Good News of Jesus every day, but especially on Sunday mornings as God’s people gather together to receive His gifts and to give Him praise. Pastor Chris is now and will always consider himself God’s work-in-progress, being shaped by God’s Word and His people.
