Our Educational Programs
Our bright cheerful classroom, combined with more than 50 years of experience providing quality education to our community’s youth allow us to offer a comprehensive set of programs.
We are a Christian School, therefore, all students are given a faith-based lesson on a daily basis and all classes attend chapel weekly for age-appropriate worship.
St. Paul Preschool utilizes a modified version of the “Wilson Fundations” Program. Fundations lays the groundwork for strong reading and writing skills. For more information about the Wilson Fundations Program, visit their website at www.fundations.com.
If you have any questions about any of our programs, please feel free to call our Assistant Director Robin Coffman at (908) 782-3979 or email our office at school@stpaulnj.com.

During Our Circle Time some of our units of discussion include Self-Awareness, Group Cooperation, Senses, Seasons and Weather, Holidays and Customs, Colors, Safety and Shapes, among others. We incorporate music activities including songs, finger-plays, rhythm activities and listening skills. We also incorporate physical activities like dancing, beanbags or group games, and outdoor playground activities in order to improve large muscle development.
Our skill categories to be covered during the year include Language Skills, Math Readiness Skills, Art, Conceptual Skills and Science and Discovery Skills. These are broken down further into 27 specific learning skills we will cover during the year.
Our primary goal is to prepare children for success in the three day program by increasing socialization skills, promoting self-esteem and developing appropriate behavior for group interaction. This is a very hands-on program.

Begindergarden
(Formerly our Pre-Kindergarten)
Our transitional program is aimed toward children who are not quite ready for a full day Kindergarten classroom. In this class, we focus on Improved Basic Skills, Continuing Social Skills, Arts, and a strong preparation for Kindergarten readiness in the following year.
We view this program as an important service which helps many students bridge the gap between part-time and full-time education.
